What is Holocene Numerology?

Before I mention what Holocene Numerology is we need to understand what numerology is first of all. There are many books, articles on the internet and websites that will tell you about numerology and how it has been used for thousands of years to teach people about how numbers can have an influence in the universe and how people can use it to learn and spread knowledge. In a nutshell it's a belief that numbers have the power to impact the world around us and in our day to day lives.

Holocene numerology is a whole new radical concept in numerology that I have recently discovered. It's an idea that is different to conventional numerology which is very popular in the world and has been for a very long time. Holocene Numerology is based on a calendar system first proposed by Cesare Emiliani in 1993 which adds 10,000 years to the current calendar system we know as the Gregorian Calendar that uses AD/BC (Anno Domini/Before Christ) or CE/BCE (Christ Era/Before Christ Era). The calendar starts in the first year near the beginning of the Holocene Geological Epoch and the Neolithic Revolution, when humans transitioned from a hunter-gatherer lifestyle to agricultural and living in fixed settlements. This calendar system is the Holocene Calendar which is also known as Holocene Era or Human Era (HE). Cesare proposed in 1993 that a HE scheme is used at the end of every year, so that year would be known as 11993 HE and so on.

How does Holocene Numerology work?

Holocene Numerology works in exactly the same way as conventional numerology. You add numbers together so that they add up to any number from 1 to 9. This also involves rounding down any numbers that add up to 10 or more until you finish up with a number total from 1 to 9. For example if you was born on 12th May 1972 you would add all the number totals together in the date to give a total number. However, in the case of the Holocene System you would have to add 1 to the system and to the total number so you would end up with 12th May 11972 HE. You would add the numbers together like this 1+2+5+1+1+9+7+2 = 28, then add the digits of 28 2+8 = 10, then round the 10 down 1+0 = 1. So this person's Holocene Life Path Number would be 1.

The current year as I write this is 2020, a 4 universal year in our Gregorian Calendar system which is the most popular calendar system to date. It is the year 12020 in the Holocene Calendar system. To calculate the Holocene Year for the year 12020 you add the numbers 1+2+0+2+0 = 5. So it is a 5 year in the Holocene Numerology System.

To calculate the personal year cycles you would do the same as what is done in conventional numerology by adding the person's birthday to the current year. So for someone born on August 5th if you wanted to work out their personal year number for 12020 which is a year 5 you would add 8+5+5 = 18, then 1+8 = 9. The person's personal year number in this case is 9.

To work out the personal month number you add the month number to the personal year number. So in the example above March would be 3+9 = 12, then 1+2 = 3. So the person's personal month number would be 3.

To work out the personal day number you add the day of the month to the personal month number. So in the example above the 7th day of the month would be 7+3 = 10, then 1+0 = 1. So the person's personal day number would be 1.

Why should we apply Holocene Numerology in our current calendar system?

The purpose I have discovered in numerology is understanding how the energy dynamics of numbers really work in numerology. Here is an analogy in the picture below which should explain how each of the 9 numbers work in numerology when operating on their own:

The 9 numbers in numerology do have their own meaning as well:

1. Leadership, drive, creator, independent, the start of something, masculine.

2. Knowledgeable, tactful, adaptable, a good listener, cautious, feminine.

3. Optimistic, fun, creative, sociable, communicative, artistic.

4. Hard working, orderly, practical, constructive, stable, disciplined, focused.

5. Freedom loving, adaptable, inspires change, adventure, travel, promotion.

6. Caretaker, domestic responsibility, love, family, service, counseling, healing.

7. Spiritual growth, wisdom, analytical, quiet, distant, philosophical, intuitive.

8. Balance of spiritual and material, power, financial rewards, good judgement.

9. Humanitarian, worldly vision, universal, love, compassion, service, endings.

So now we know the meaning of the 9 numbers why would we want to apply Holocene Numerology into our current calendar system? Well having studied numerology in depth for a long time now I understand that there can be more than one single number that influences a particular year. Sometimes as well it can help to strengthen the energy of a particular number as I will explain:

1 with 2's energy; the 2 can help 1 become a better leader by teaching the number 1 how to allow input from others and how to be a better listener.

2 with 3's energy; the 3 can help 2 express itself better as the 2 often has trouble speaking up and saying "no" in some situations.

3 with 4's energy; the 4 can help 3 become more focused and disciplined as the 3 can often become scattered and lack direction.

4 with 5's energy; the 5 can help 4 loosen up more by encouraging the 4 to be more accepting of change and to be more tolerant, not to be so "square" and think outside the box more, encourages more freedom.

5 with 6's energy; the 6 can help 5 calm down as the 5 can be slightly wild at times and likes change and taking risks, it gives the 5 a sense of protection and will help close-knit communities and families work together.

6 with 7's energy; the 7 can help 6 focus more inward and take time out for solitude and introspection when it needs to as the 6 can often become dominated by social responsibilities.

7 with 8's energy; the 8 can help the 7 become more outwardly focused as the 7 tends to be focused very much inwards. The 8 can help the 7 discover what's missing in life and can help it fulfill it's material needs.

8 with 9's energy; the 9 can help the 8 focus it's needs on more worldly events and can help the 8 become more universal and not become too focused on material success.

9 with 1's energy; the 9 and 1 are very similar in that they are very self-sufficient but the 1 can teach the 9 how to look after it's own individual needs better and not become too involved with worldly affairs.

As I said in the description above and in the picture below this shows how integrating these numbers together can help improve the energy dynamic of all of the 9 numbers in the numerology system. This is how it can work in the Gregorian Calendar system we are familiar with today. So for example, the year 2020 is a 4 universal year which is being influenced by the holocene year which is 5. This can also influence the personal year number of everyone on the planet. My personal year number at the time of writing this is 7 but is being influenced by the holocene personal year which is 8:
