It is the year 12021 in the Holocene Calendar system. To calculate the Holocene Year for the year 12021 you add the numbers 1+2+0+2+1 = 6. So it is a 6 year in the Holocene Numerology System.

After the dramatic unpredictable events of last year the energies of 12021 promise to be a little more stable. The focus is on local communities and their ability to come together in times of uncertainty. Despite this though there will be many hardships to overcome and this will affect people in different ways depending on where we live in the world and our social connections and networks.

There will be many new forms of communication and media and a need to move away from the globalised, big business ways of providing services. Many people will resort back to traditional methods of trading and this will even change movement of goods, offering a more free way of trading and running businesses. There will be a stronger urge to grow our own food and learn to be more self sufficient with our resources. These methods will be essential in recovering the livelihoods of those impacted by crisis. Yes we will need to learn to examine our behaviours, methods and expectations and become more adaptable. Those institutions that fail to adapt to societal changes and needs will not progress very far and will collapse.

Due to an unstable economy with most people worldwide being out of work for a year now we could see the emergence of a new type of currency such as gold and silver which will start to increase in value over the coming years. There will also be a need to provide more free services for those who have run out of or have little money. The ability to help those most vulnerable and in need will depend mainly on the spirit of local communities working together to help each other.

On a final note 12021 is a highly significant year according to the numbers in the year. The numbers are in perfect symmetry, meaning even when written backwards are the same number 12021. This is a very rare occurrence and has not happened for 110 years in the Holocene Calendar. The year also has two 1's which is the first and last numbers in the year which act as a type of protective guard for the other numbers, the 1 is masculine inspiring leadership and individuality and new ideas. Then there are the two 2's which are both feminine inspiring sensitivity, teamwork and co-operation and they support the 0. The 0 can be interpreted as a portal into the unseen and has infinite potential and its also nothing, a type of void into the unknown.

To calculate the personal year cycles you would do the same as what is done in conventional numerology by adding the person's birthday to the current year. You add numbers together so that they add up to any number from 1 to 9. This also involves rounding down any numbers that add up to 10 or more until you end up with a number total from 1 to 9. The current year in the Holocene Calendar for 12021 is calculated by adding together all the numbers in the year 1+2+0+2+1 = 6. So 12021 is a 6 year. For example if you was born on 16th May you would add the number totals together in the date which is 1+6+5 = 12, then add the digits of 12 1+2 = 3, then add the 3 to 6 and you're left with 9. So this person's Holocene Personal Year Number would be 9.

The Most Important Numbers for Each Year
There are a few approaches numerologists use for figuring out when a new personal year actually starts for individuals. This can be done by either starting the year on the first day of the current year 1st January and ending on December 31st or by using your month of birth as the start of the new personal year. So if you was born in April your personal year would start on April 1st and would end on March 31st the following year. From the research I have done it does seem that more people are using the latter method of using their month of birth to determine their personal year.
My personal approach is slightly different to most numerologists but I feel this helps integrate different numbers in the same year. This states that there are 3 key numbers that will have the biggest impact on you in every year:

Dominant Number:
The most dominant number is taken from your Personal Year Number for the current year of the Gregorian Calendar, starting from January 1st and ending on December 31st.
This is also relevant for the Universal Year Number.

Second Number:
The second most dominant number has slightly less of an impact than the most dominant number but nevertheless is still powerful. This is taken from your Personal Year Number for the current year of the Holocene Calendar, starting from January 1st and ending on December 31st.
This is also relevant for the Universal Year Number.

Third Number:
Finally the third most important number, which is actually split into two numbers (but can sometimes be the same number). This is what I refer to as the Birthday Year and as mentioned above this starts in the month of your birthday.
The Birthday Year is carried over from one year to the next and is based on your personal year number from the previous year. For those of you born in January this Birthday Year only lasts for the first week of a new year just as the energies of the new year develop maturity. For those born from February to December it lasts until the end of the month before your birthday month. So you are aware the Birthday Year will change at some point in a particular year because it's based on your month of birth not the start and end of the year. This leaves a gap with some people having longer Birthday Years than others. So how do we fill this gap?

You could use many different numbers of your own choosing in your personal year chart but my favourite one is the Essence Cycle which is based on the calculation of the initials in your full name for that particular year.
